The walk started at 10:00 a.m. at Big River and followed the scenic, unpaved Big River Road along Big River. After the walk, we held a memorial ceremony on the edge of the river to remember those who have passed away due to the effects of cancer.

This year we had 25 people who gathered pledges, helping to support
the work of CRCMC. Kathy Orsi, who gathered the most pledges over $1,000 won a Specialized Rockhopper Disk mountain bike, generously donated by Fort Bragg Cyclery! |

| All proceeds of the walk benefited the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County. CRCMC, a grassroots organization, has been working since 1995 to improve the quality of life for those in Mendocino County facing cancer. We provide a wide range of information, support, and advocacy assistance to a broad network of clients, their families and friends. All of our services are offered free of charge and all of our efforts are spent in Mendocino County. |
