The 11th Annual Big River Walk June 5th

Celebration of Life 2010

Gather pledge donations and participate in this inspiring and beneficial walk, held in conjunction with the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation to support the important work of the Cancer Resource Centers.

The walk will start just east of Highway One, south of the historic village of Mendocino, CA. The three mile walking course follows the scenic, unpaved Big River Road to the 1.5 mile marker, and then back to the Big River beach.

By gathering pledges, you will help support the work of the CRCMC. We encourage all participants to gather at least 10 pledges from family, friends, co-workers, and local businesses.

The prize for the participant who raises the most over $1,000 is an "Otter" XP Kayak & Paddle, donated by Catch-a-Canoe.

The participant who gathers the second most pledges over $1,000 will win a Tracks to Kayaks tour generously donated by Liquid Fusion Kayaks!

Please contact us to register. Registration fee is a suggested donation of $25 (walk or paddle). All pledges are to be turned in at the event.

All proceeds will benefit the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County. CRCMC, a grassroots organization, has been working since 1995 to improve the quality of life for those in Mendocino County facing cancer. We provide a wide range of information, support, and advocacy assistance to a broad network of clients, their families and friends. All of our services are offered free of charge and all of our efforts are spent in Mendocino County.
