A Celebration of Life!
 Join us by gathering pledges and participating in this inspiring and community supported walk and paddle event held in conjunction with the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation! Help support the important work of the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County.
 The event will begin east of Highway One, south of the historic village of Mendocino. The 3 mile walking course follows the scenic, unpaved Big River Road to the 1.5 mile marker, and then back to Big River Beach.
The paddle will begin at the Big River Beach boat launch. There will also be a docent led historical walk along Big River. Before the event, we will have a ceremony to honor loved ones who have faced cancer. Local musical group Mixed Nuts will add to the festivities. After the walk, enjoy refreshments with your friends, family and rest of the community. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather.
By gathering pledges you will be supporting the important work of the Cancer Resource Center. We encourage all participants to gather at least 10 pledges from family, friends, co-workers, and local businesses in honor or memory of a loved one who has faced cancer.
Gather the most pledges totaling over $1000 and win a guided bioluminescent canoe tour on "Redwood Blue" for you and 8 of your friends along Mendocino's Big River Estuary generously donated by Catch a Canoe & Bicycles Too!
Registration fee is a suggested donation of $25 for adults and $10 for children (walk or paddle) Participants can register online via PayPal below, by phone at (707) 937-3833, by visiting our office, or at the event.
All cash and check pledges can be turned in at our office at 45040 Calpella St. in Mendocino or at the event.

All proceeds will benefit the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County. CRCMC, a grassroots organization, has been working since 1995 to improve the quality of life for those in Mendocino County facing cancer. We provide a wide range of information, support, and advocacy assistance, including medical appointment preparedness assistance, appointment recording and summarization. All of our services are offered free of charge and all of our efforts are spent in Mendocino County.
