Peter is a retired California State Parks Administrator.  He joined the CRC board in 2013.  He lives in Mendocino with his wife Shari and puppy Louis.

Paula is a retired health care administrator, formerly executive director of Mendocino Coast Clinics. She has been a member of the CRC board since 2007.

TREASURER

Xochilt is a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Mendocino Community Health Clinics. She has been a member of the CRC board since 2017.

 
Jendi Coursey

Jendi Coursey

Jendi is a public relations consultant, writer, and photographer who joined the CRC board in 2009. Having seen her son through neuroblastoma in 2000 and her husband through cholangiocarcinoma in 2018, she is more dedicated than ever to CRC's mission.

 
Margaret Fox, board member

Margaret Fox

Margaret is a founding board member of the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County, which started in 1995.  She is a chef and former owner of Café Beaujolais in Mendocino and recently retired as culinary director of Harvest Market in Fort Bragg.

 
Nancy Puder, board member

Nancy Puder

Nancy is a retired small business owner.  She has been involved with the Cancer Resource Centers of Mendocino County since its founding in 1995. 

 

Marcelle Scramaglia

Secretary

Marcelle is a long time resident of Comptche and a cancer survivor.  She has worked in a Federally Qualified Rural Health Center in Mendocino County since 2005 and has a background in community studies and nursing. She joined the CRC board in 2023.

 

Mario Espindola, MD

Dr. Espindola, a bilingual physician practicing in Ukiah, brings personal insight into the Latino culture and a deep commitment to caring for families across generations. He joined the CRC board in 2023.

 

James H. Katzel, MD

Jim has worked in Mendocino County as a family physician since the 1970’s. For decades he has been a supporter of the Cancer Resource Centers and considers it an essential and irreplaceable component of our local family-centric health care. He joined the CRC board in 2024.

 

Becky Clark

Becky is a land use and environmental planner at a local consulting firm. She was raised in Willits and now lives there with her husband, dog, and 2 cats. She joined the CRC board in 2024.
